My Story
I hail from an Orthodox Hindu family in Dosakayala Palli village, near Rajahmundry. My ancestors practiced idol worship for many generations. In 1955, a Christian woman visited my elder sister's home. Her children were suffering from jaundice, and the woman suggested that prayer to Jesus Christ could heal them. My sister agreed to let her pray, and after the prayer, her children were miraculously healed. This experience deeply impacted my sister, who had previously been devout in her idol worship practices.
Intrigued by the miraculous healing, my sister began to question the nature of God. She prayed for divine revelation, and that night, around midnight, Jesus appeared to her in a vision, declaring, "I am the true God." This encounter led her to renounce idol worship, accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and undergo water baptism. Subsequently, she began to share her faith with family members, one by one.
In time, my sister visited me in Dosakayala Palli from Gangavaram village in Kakinada and encouraged me to read the Bible. Although I was skeptical and hesitant, she left a Bible among my Hindu religious texts. Initially, I avoided touching it, but after a few days, I began reading it. A verse that struck me profoundly was Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." This led me to question whether the true God was Hindu deities or Jesus Christ. Seeking clarity, I prayed, and Jesus revealed Himself to me in a vision, prompting me to confess my sins and accept Him as my Savior. I was baptized in 1959.
Subsequently, a pastor encouraged me to attend Bible college, where I received training and returned to Rajahmundry to begin my pastoral ministry in 1965, following the example of the late Apostle K.R. David. During this time, I met with the late Apostle K.G. Paul, who informed me about a church in Ainavilli village that needed attention. Despite initial reluctance, I was guided by a vision of Jesus, referencing Jonah 4:11, instructing me to go. Obeying this call, I ministered in Ainavilli and surrounding areas, converting many from Hindu Orthodoxy and baptizing them.
I established the Lord's Ministry on December 12, 1965, and have faced numerous challenges in serving these villages.
